So, I’m in Los Angeles. It has been SO hectic since I’ve been here and, alas, the blog was left to the side, even though moving to LA was the whole reason I wanted to have a Tumblr at all!!
I was looking at this picture and I knew I had to post it. One of the last I took before I left, and definitely the person I’m missing most. Yes, she is a person too.

I found out the shocking news that Dave McWane has throat cancer last night, and I’ve been thinking about him almost constantly since. He is a truly talented musician and seems like an intelligent and certainly witty guy.
I hope he pulls through and that he doesn’t suffer too much. My thoughts are with him and all of his family and friends.
Ok, this is seriously and awesomely important.
Last week we did a little Autumn cleaning and went through a few boxes of test pressings. We decided that it’d be way better that fans have them than them sitting in boxes in our office. With that being said, the test pressings for the albums listed…

I hope to get a good job, a nice apartment and to live comfortably for the year without too much stress about money.
I dream about working for either a great filmmaker, or on a TV show in production or post-production; or working for a music label with great new bands, getting paid to do what I love :D
I’m worried about all the crime that seems to go on in LA and the fact that anyone in America can have a gun. I’m worried about how big LA is and that neither myself or my housemate-to-be can drive.
I’m terrified that I won’t get a job related to my degree..and then I won’t be able to pay rent..so I get a job as a waitress or something..and then CIEE find out..and then I’d be sent home.. 8’(
But I’m optimistic that I can sort something out. I’m really excited about getting a tan, cycling everywhere so I get super fit, meeting new people and doing new things in a whole new place.
Really it’s the scariest thing I’ve done in my life so far and maybe it will be the scariest thing I ever do and that just makes me more excited to do it! Life is to be lived and I can’t wait around for something to happen. So Ruth and I are going for it.
LA..you won’t know what hit ya!

I’ve finally set up a blog! I know, it’s about time..!
Anyway my plan for this is to keep a simple record of my life from this point, two weeks after my Undergrad Graduation, and into my (hopefully) exciting future. I’m currently working in a village shop and preparing myself for a big move in January- from the easy life in Howth to the big bad real world in Los Angeles California.
So today I set up a blog, finished a trailer for my thesis video and I intend to start the search for a job in my soon-to-be home for 12 months. I don’t expect any of it to be easy but I’m hopeful and thinking positively!
